The Evans B13DRY Genera Dry Coated Snare Batter Drumhead is a single-ply head that punches well above its weight. Built from a 10-mil coated film, the Genera Dry delivers the open feel and sensitivity of a single-ply head while producing a fuller, fatter spread typically associated with two-ply construction — making it a versatile choice for snare and tom applications across a wide range of styles.

A 2-mil overtone control ring on the underside floats with the head to suppress excessive overtones, shorten sustain, and equalize tuning across the pitch range. Precision vent holes around the perimeter further eliminate stray harmonics, giving you a more focused, controlled sound that works equally well live and in the studio.
