Purpose: This deep thread nut is ideal for guitars with thicker tops (e.g., Les Paul-style or Epiphone models) where the switch’s threaded shaft may not protrude far enough for a standard nut to secure it properly. The extended threaded column allows it to screw down further to secure the switch.

Thread Specification: The nut uses USA inch threads with a 7/16-inch inner diameter, which is standard for Switchcraft toggle switches. It may not fit switches with metric threads or different diameters, such as some import or non-Switchcraft switches.
