The Gibraltar SC-4421D Standard Hi-hat Clutch is designed to work with Gibraltar 5000-, 6000-, and 8000-series stands, as well as intermediate stands from other manufacturers with 7mm pull rods. The SC-4421D's two felt cymbal protectors and locking metal washers deliver dependable action with just the right amount of "play," whether you take your hats taut or sloshy. What's more, its single-threaded metal locking nut resists unscrewing due to play. This means your hats remain secure as the night rolls along. Up top, a jumbo wing nut supplies locking force onto pull rods without torquing your wrist.
