The Evans B13HDD Genera HD Dry Coated Snare Batter Drumhead is engineered for drummers who need a focused, controlled sound with aggressive rimshot response and minimal unwanted overtones. Built from two plies of film — a 7.5-mil outer ply and a 5-mil inner ply — the HD Dry delivers a punchy, dry attack that barks live and translates cleanly in the studio.

Three distinct technologies work together to shape the sound: precision-drilled vent holes around the perimeter eliminate stray harmonics and tighten sustain; a 2-mil overtone control ring on the underside floats with the head to suppress excessive overtones without choking the response; and Evans' Level 360 collar ensures even seating across the full bearing edge for a wider tonal range and easier tuning.
