Enter the TC Electronic El Mocambo Overdrive. This pedal will beef up your tone and give you that highly coveted fat mid-range “oomph” that will cut right through the mix when your band is going hard. The gritty mid-range honk produced by this unit will give you an authentic vintage-driven tone that is great for melodic blues solos, reminiscent of the great blues masters.
